The Return of the Empress is exactly as implied in previous supplements in 1st and 2nd Edition books. I have not run this, but have thoroughly read through it. I feel that overall, given what the book is and set out to do, it did its job fairly well. I am not sure this is the way I want my own game to "end" or how I want to run the 'Return of the Empress', this is an issue I feel that any pregen adventure has.
However, the quality of the writing and art is quite good, and overall, it's an enjoyable read. In terms of other 1 star review that it's "all about the solars", well, not exactly. Each chapter deals with how a party of any exalts could handle it.
Some places the writers basically say,"Dragon bloods will have a hard time here, but nothing is return of the scarlet empress pdf download.
